Job Description

Daily Nanny – Sole Charge – B2 & B3 mths – W8

Fun, young, hands-on parents looking for a nanny to care for their two amazing little boys aged 2 and 12 weeks. They live in a beautiful little cul de sac in the Kensington, close to all the lovely parks and kids classes that you are encouraged to make use of.

The 2-year-old attends monkey music and playgroups in the local area and will be starting nursery (2 hours in the afternoon) close to home in September. In January he will transition to morning nursery, 3 hours per day. The younger son is in a great sleep routine, already having 11 hours per night. They are both incredibly happy boys and love their kisses, hugs and affection so a nanny who can offer them this is essential.

Mum will be returning to work full time in June/July, dependant all on when they can find their ideal nanny. They are a neat and tidy family who move fast, are very organised and are constantly on the go. A nanny who can mirror this and assist in the smooth running of the home is a high priority.

Their ideal nanny will be able to take the reins from Mum each morning, be organised each day, have a meal plan prepared for the following week so the family can ensure the groceries are available, keep note of appointments, birthdays and events coming up and go above the norm to add personal touches such as preparing birthday/mother’s day cards for the family with the children, make cookies with the children to give to dad if he is stressed at work or pick some flowers to give to mum etc. They would like a nanny who is developmentally focused, to share tips and pointers with the parents for how best to help the boys reach their fullest potential.

The older boy loves arts and crafts, being outdoors, sports and constantly being engaged in new fun things. Being able to offer him this as well as still engaging the younger boy is essential. Previous experience caring for two young children is also a must. The family travel a couple of weeks spread over the year and they would like the nanny to join them on family holidays. Mum and Dad are very hands on in the evenings and on weekends, always taking the boys out on family adventures and mucking in around the house. They would want their nanny to do the same and feel like part of the family. Being the person to love and adore the boys and give them all the affection they need when mum and dad can’t be there.

Fluent written and spoken English is essential, youthful, active, energetic, fit and fun to be able to keep up with an active two-year-old and the young baby when he gets on the move.
